Terminology from the field of electricity and electronics has been added to TEPA Term Bank. All term records from IEC Electropedia that contain Finnish can now be found in TEPA. Electropedia is an open terminology database provided by The International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
In addition to Finnish, the terms in TEPA are also given in Swedish, English, German, French and Russian. The definitions and notes are in English. The contents published in TEPA contain more than 9,200 term records and almost 55,000 search terms. Electropedia’s own user interface contains even more languages. Every term record from Electropedia published in TEPA contains a link leading to the term record in Electropedia.
TEPA's contents have been arranged into terminology groups according to their type or source. By default, search is applied to all of these groups. It is also possible to limit the search to Electropedia, for example, by selecting Electropedia as the desired terminology group in the menu next to the search field.
After the addition of Electropedia, TEPA Term Bank has more than 365,000 term records. One TEPA search gives now more search results from even more sources in a unified form!
