Työllisyyspalvelujen sanasto was prepared in collaboration between the Development and Administrative Services Centre (KEHA Centre) and the Finnish Terminology Centre in various phases from 2017 to 2024. The purpose of the glossary is to clarify concepts related to working life and employment services. Several experts from the KEHA Center and the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment of Finland participated in the terminology work, which was carried out in collaboration with the project's conceptual modeling experts. The working group was led by the Terminology Centre’s terminologists, who were responsible for the practical terminology work.
The work was part of the reform of digital TE services project, which involved building a national digital service platform, the Job Market Finland. The glossary includes 131 key concepts related to employment services. The content of the concepts is clarified with definitions and complementing notes, which are given in Finnish. The concepts are given Finnish term recommendations.
