Submitted by webmaster on

In summer 2018, the Finnish Terminology Centre started terminology work commissioned by the Oulu Region Joint Authority for Education, who is the coordinator of a project called Parasta digitukea (”Best digital support”) (http://parastadigitukea.fi). he project Parasta digitukea relates to vocational education, training agreements and apprenticeship agreements. The project aims to support the interoperability of the information systems that vocational education providers make use of in the context of training agreements and apprenticeship agreements. The publication that will result from the terminology work aims to support interoperability of information systems through terminological means: by defining concepts and agreeing on the terms to be used.

The terminology is to be ready for publication by the middle of 2019. The publication will include 20 to 50 concepts. Concept descriptions will be given in Finnish, and the Finnish terms will be provided with equivalents in Swedish.
