TERM-COL Questionnaire on Terminology Work Processes and Tools

The Institute of the Estonian Language and the Finnish Terminology Centre have launched a joint project, TERM-COL, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The project focuses on developing an operational model and an AI-based terminology collection tool for processing large text resources in Estonian, Finnish and English, as well as collecting terminological data on AI-related concepts.

Project for building an AI-based Terminology Collection Model started

The Finnish Terminology Centre and the Institute of the Estonian Language started a joint development project in September. The aim of the project is to develop an operating model and an AI-based terminology collection tool that is able to handle large text resources in Estonian and Finnish. Data on AI-related concepts are collected from the test data in the development work, and terminologists process the data to be published on the platforms of the Terminology Centre and the Institute.
