TERM-COL Questionnaire on Terminology Work Processes and Tools

The Institute of the Estonian Language and the Finnish Terminology Centre have launched a joint project, TERM-COL, co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union. The project focuses on developing an operational model and an AI-based terminology collection tool for processing large text resources in Estonian, Finnish and English, as well as collecting terminological data on AI-related concepts.

Project for building an AI-based Terminology Collection Model started

The Finnish Terminology Centre and the Institute of the Estonian Language started a joint development project in September. The aim of the project is to develop an operating model and an AI-based terminology collection tool that is able to handle large text resources in Estonian and Finnish. Data on AI-related concepts are collected from the test data in the development work, and terminologists process the data to be published on the platforms of the Terminology Centre and the Institute. Thus the project also enhances the availability of Estonian and Finnish AI terms.
