New material in the Finnish IT Terminology 11/2019
New and updated concepts:
Terminology work on TE-digi project continues
In 2017, the Finnish Terminology Centre carried out terminology work for KEHA-Centre’s (Development and Administrative Services Centre for public employment services) TE-digi project (project which aims to develop a national digital “meeting place” for the supply and demand for labour). In August 2019, this work was continued with a special focus on concepts related to customership. The work will result in a terminology in which terms, definitions and notes are given in Finnish at this point.
Government subsidy terminology project continues
In August 2019, the Finnish Terminology Centre resumed the terminology work for CSC (IT Centre for Science), which aims at providing descriptions for central concepts related to government subsidies. The terminology work aims to support a project whose objective is to develop and digitalise activities related to government subsidies. The responsibility of the preparation stage of the digitalisation project lies with the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.
