The Finnish Terminology Centre (Sanastokeskus) offers information on and expert services related to terminology work, classification work and ontology work. In our activities, we apply the concept analysis method based on the theory of terminology and international terminology standards. In addition to terminology services of general interest, the Terminology Centre carries out projects commissioned by individual organisations. For the provision of the services of general interest, the Terminology Centre receives financial assistance from the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.

The Finnish Terminology Centre carries out terminology work, classification work and ontology work in collaboration with subject-field experts. The website contains information on glossaries, ontologies and other publications resulting from these projects.
